LEVEL 1
Level 1 Fundamental Universal Boxing is a 4-week class (1x/week). This class is for anyone who always wanted to learn how to box, throw a proper punch, hit a heavy bag, and/or just get an all-around awesome cardio workout that you can only get from boxing. Week 1 you will start from the basics, how to wrap your hands, jump rope, get into a boxing stance, throw a proper jab, etc. By the end of the 4 weeks, you will be able to jump rope 3 rounds of 3 minutes and complete a true boxing workout that includes shadow boxing, slips, and hitting the heavy bag with combinations. The training environment will be encouraging, and students will learn from each other. Hand wraps are included for first-time sign-ups, and gloves, and jump rope will be provided for class.
LEVEL 2
Level 2 Fundamental Universal Boxing is a 4-week class (1x/week). This class is for all students who have completed level 1 at least once (we recommend doing level 1 twice). In this class, we will be taking the boxing game up a notch. You will learn more defensive drills, defending punches, slipping punches, counter punching, heavy bag work, etc. We will introduce more punch combinations such as hooks and uppercuts. By the end of this class, you could be ready to spar or just continue the journey of having amazing boxing workouts. The training environment will be encouraging, and students will learn from each other. Gloves and jump rope will be provided for the class. If you have your equipment, please feel free to bring it. It is recommended you get your own gloves if you want to keep advancing.
